Following last month's successful volunteering at Feed My Starving Children, ELCO employees and some family members stayed closer to home this month volunteering for our neighbor, Bernie's Book Bank, which is literally located in our backyard. Bernie's Book Bank collects and distributes books to promote literacy for under-priviledged children. Employees volunteering their time for community service is becoming a new tradition at ELCO Mutual Life and Annuity.
