ELCO is proud of our participation in giving programs such as Bernie’s Book Bank here in Lake County, Illinois and Feed My Starving Children for those all over the world. ELCO’s Season of Giving, will help a few local, less fortunate families, to have a Happy Holiday. In partnership with Catholic Charities, ELCO has been assigned four families. Volleyball has been a growing sport in the United States since its creation in 1895 by a YMCA physical education director named William G. Morgan. Breast Cancer Awareness Month, also referred to in America as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM), is an annual international health campaign organized by major breast cancer charities every October. Earlier this month, ELCO employees and their families banded together to collect school supplies for Miguel Juarez Middle School in Waukegan, Illinois. In total, ELCO's staff & their families purchased over $400 worth of School Supplies. Janice Bradford, of our Policyowner Service Department, helped by dropping off the supplies at Miguel Juarez Middle School.
