Posted by Admin on April 25, 2018

The Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) met again in 2017, representing 285,000 members in more than 165 countries. Among them, our very own Lori Lemme. Lori has been our representative at these conferences many times during her 7 years with ELCO Mutual. We thought it would be a good opportunity to take a fresh look at the past, present, and future of our “Department of One”. The sport not only spread within the states, but also worldwide with over 800 million players. Volleyball became an Olympic sport in 1964 and is now the second most popular sport to only soccer. 2017 has been a year of many firsts for ELCO. From new product offerings for our clients, development of a new Marketing Department, to having our First Annual W.D. We have continued our relationship with Bernie’s Book Bank, which focuses on children and a love of reading. We have continued our relationship with Feed My ...

Many have heard the expression, “Home is where the heart is”. I’ve heard a version of that expression used in a few different ways these last few weeks. Let me explain. It was expressed by the President of ELCO, David Bruce, when he told me that he believed the accounting department is the heart of any company. The other time was while interviewing the three ladies that make up our accounting department, and became the dominant theme for this interview. Believe me when I say, I feel privileged to have been able to talk to this department for our latest ELCO ...
